About

I studied B.Sc. Physiotherapy at the University of the Witwatersrand and qualified in 2007. In 2008, I completed my community service at Zola Clinic in Soweto. In 2009, I relocated to KwaZulu-Natal for 3 years where I worked in hands-on private practices with both out-patients and hospital patients.

In November 2011, I moved back to Roodepoort and I took over a physiotherapy practice in Helderkruin. I then moved my practice down Ontdekkers Road in August 2015. I have completed many courses over the years, these include: dry needling, kinesio taping, dynamic taping, active isolated stretching, Mulligan mobilisation and stroke rehabilitation.

The most recent course I completed was in Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy (OMT1) in 2011, which is a year-long course and focuses on manual therapy, motor control rehabilitation and joint therapy techniques.

Siân Bonney Physiotherapy

Siân Bonney Physiotherapy is a registered private physiotherapy practice owned and run by myself Siân Bonney. The practice was opened in November 2011.

The aim of the practice is to provide patients with good quality care in a comfortable private environment, at medical aid rates. I submit claims to all the medical aid schemes on behalf of my patients for their convenience.

The treatment sessions are very hands-on and the time allocated for each treatment is an hour, irrespective of whether you are a new or a follow-up patient.

Feel free to either sms, phone or e-mail me to make an appointment. My complete contact details are available under Contact.
