Dry Needling

Dry Needling is a technique used for trigger points and muscles, stiffness in ligaments around joints, as well as for scar tissue. It improves circulation and decreases pain to those areas.

Thank you to Siân Bonney Physiotherapist for sorting my neck and elbow out, for the strapping and for my first experience with dry needling.

Lumbar & Cervical Traction

Traction is used for muscle spasm, disc injuries and for pinched nerves. It is a very gentle way of alleviating muscle spasm, relieving pressure of a pinched nerve, as well as widening the disc space. It is used for chronic neck (cervical) and back (lumbar) problems. It can also be used for an acute bout of neck or back pain.

Kinesio & Dynamic Taping

Kinesio and Dynamic Taping is used for painful muscles, to limit joint motion, to decrease swelling or to assist the function of a weak muscle. It is a flexible tape that resembles the qualities of human skin. This allows for increased circulation, increased lymph drainage and decreases the pain in the area that has been taped.

Low-level Laser Therapy

Laser therapy is the use of infrared light for therapeutic purposes in the treatment of most common pathologies such as: fractures, haematomas, joint pains, muscular strains, arthritis, bursitis, tendonosis, chronic and acute pain. It creates a thermal effect which, in turn, causes vasodilation of the capillaries and arteries.
